LED Lighting and Sustainability

Converting to LED lighting can have a positive impact on our environment. By reducing electricity consumption we reduce our carbon footprint in the process. LEDs have an average life span of 50,000 hours, and last about three times longer than fluorescent bulbs. If a ballast bypass TLED is selected, such as a direct wire TLED, your overhead lighting becomes virtually maintenance free. The energy savings attained by converting to LED lighting equates to a reduction of cars on the road, less dependence on electrical grids, less usage of oil and coal, and more planting of trees.  It is as easy as changing a light.
